Annual Day celebrations

Chaitra PU College and High School: ‘Chaitrotsava-2017,’ the Annual Day celebrations of Chaitra PU College and High School, was held recently.

Manjula, DDPI (Administration), Mysuru, was the chief guest. In her speech, she praised the Institution’s sedulous effort in the all-round development of students. She also opined that literary activities enhances the student’s academic performance.

S. Gururaj, Chairman of Chaitra Educational Institution, presided the function. In his address, he shared his dream of building an institution where everyone without any supervision understands one’s responsibilities and work.

Tara Priyadarshini welcomed. Pushpalatha proposed a vote of thanks. Chaitra PU College Principal Vani Sivakumar and Chaitra High School Head Mistress Geetha Barki presented the annual report.

Sharada Vidya Mandir: ‘Sharadotsava-2017,’ the third College Day of Sharada Vidya Mandir, Sri Jayachamarajendra PU College, was celebrated at Kalamandira recently.

N. Nandakumar, President of Karnataka State Vishwakarma Communities Development Corporation, was the chief guest.

N. Sachidananda Murthy, Chairman, R. Anand, Secretary, S.T. Thimmaraju, Treasurer and Academic Director, Jayashree S. Murthy, Trustee, B.N. Sunil Dayakar, Principal, staff, students and parents attended.

Students entertained the audience through Skits, Dance Drama, Instrumental Music and a feature on National Integration.

Navkis Educational Centre: The extravagant Annual Day celebration on the 14th and 15th of December at Kalamandira comprised of two production based on Panchabhuta — ‘Cosmic Rendezvous’ and Lord Shiva — ‘Trinetrasara.’ The festivity highlighted the importance of the five elements of nature and brought out the essence of our devotional sentiments.

The programme commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the chief guest, Chairman Anandram, Principal Vasantha Latha, escorted by other dignitaries and teachers.

The ceremony commenced with an invocation song by the students followed by a welcome speech. School Principal read out Annual Report.

The first inaugural ceremony “Cosmic Rendezvous” presented amidst great zest, vibrancy and elation on 14th of December highlighted the cosmic quest of the world which forms our life force.

The second production “Trinetrasara” on 15th of December was the much awaited Dance-Drama presented by the students.

The ebullient characters showcased a kaleidoscopic presentation on stage. The students presented an enthralling performance which kept the audience astounded. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks and a National Anthem.

GRACE OPEN SCHOOL & TRAINING CENTRE, BOGADI: ‘Amazing Grace 2017,’ the Annual Day celebrations of the Centre was held at Basaveswara Samudaya Bhavana recently.

Director Swapna Joseph presided over the function. Fr. Jinosh Mathew, Principal of Christ Public School, was the chief guest and Johnson Joseph of Lunar Group of Companies was the guest of honour. Trustees Shibu Joseph, B.S. Jay Ram and May Rose Steele were present.

Every batch of children showcased their talents in music and dance, drama and skits.
