Mysuru: GSSS Institute of Engineering and Technology for Women on KRS Road here will be celebrating ‘Geethayaana-2018,’ the annual techno-cultural fest from tomorrow (Mar. 22) till Mar. 24.
The fest will be inaugurated by Pramoda Devi Wadiyar at 10.30 am tomorrow at Sri M. Govinda Rao Memorial Hall in the college campus. Former Advisor to the Defence Minister Padma Vibhushan Dr. V.K. Aatre will be the guest of honour.
GSSS Hon. Secretary Vanaja B. Pandit, CEO R.K. Bharath, AAO Anupama B. Pandit, Principal Dr. M. Shivakumar, HoD of Chemistry Dr. Bellappa, HoD of Physics Dr. Pushpalatha and others will be present. GSSS President Dr. M. Jagannatha Shenoi will preside.
The three-day events comprise Technical Quiz, Technical Collage, Poster Presentation, Circuit Debugging, Technical Crossword Puzzle, Computer Gaming contest, solo dance, duet dance, group dance, singing, skits, mime, debate and dumb charade competitions. The event will conclude with a fashion show and Miss Geethayaana contest.
