Mysore/Mysuru: Deepa High School, Roopanagar, celebrated its Annual Sports Day with great enthusiasm recently.

Dr. Raghunandan (Orthopaedic Specialist, Manasa Hospital, Mysuru), who was the chief guest, inaugurated the programme by releasing a flock of pigeons into the sky.

Vice-President of Deepa Institution V.N. Sundar, Directors Sadashiva Poojari and Balakrishna, Deepa PU College Principal Pranitha Yermal, Deepa High School Head Mistress H. Geetha, Deepa Primary School Head Mistress B. Savitha, Deepa Primary Head Master Babu and all the teachers were present in this function.

The sports day started with the march-past by the students of four different Houses. All the students participated in various events and won prizes.

Chief guest Dr. Raghunandan  in his motivational speech advised every child to participate in the field of sports and briefed the benefits of involving in various sports activities.
