Annual Sports Meet at Schools

MYSORE WEST LIONS SEVANIKETAN SCHOOL: The Annual Sports Meet of the School was held recently in the presence of Dr. D. JSS Public School, Siddarthanagar: The 27th Annual Athletic Meet of JSS Public School, Siddarthanagar,  was held at the School premises recenly. 

Srikanth Rao, Director, Rao’s Skating Academy, was the chief guest. B. Latha, Principal of the School, welcomed the guest and  the gathering.

Eshanya Madhu Gowda, School Captain, took oath on behalf of all the students. The event started with an eye-catching march-past by the contingents of the four Houses.

Pigeons and Sky lanterns were released to mark the inauguration of the Sports Meet. 

Special events were organised for Kindergarten parents in which they participated enthusiastically. 

Students of the school broke several old records and established new ones setting higher standard for the students to achieve in the ensuing years.

Vijaya Vittala Education Institutions (VVEI): City Police Commissioner K.T. Balakrishna inaugurated the Annual Sports Meet of Vijaya Vittala Education Institutions at Oval Grounds, University of Mysore (UoM), by hoisting the Flag. 

Dr. P. Krishnaiah, Director (in-Charge), Department of Physical Education (DPE), UoM, was the chief guest on the occasion. 

More than 300 students participated in the march-past during the inauguration. On behalf of the participants, Sharanya B. Rao took the oath. Khushi, Vyomika, Chandana, M.D. Sujan and Yashwanth handed over the glowing Sports Torch to the dignitaries. 

VVEI President R. Guru, VVEI Hon. Secretary R. Vasudev Bhat, College Principal H. Satyaprasad, VVVS Principal  S.P. Asha, parents, teaching and non-teaching staff of the institution were present on the occasion.
