Mysore/Mysuru: The Anveshane 2023 – State Camp (Finals) will be held in the campus of Swami Vivekananda Youth Movement (SVYM), Mysuru, from Nov. 17 to 19. Ninety students from 21 districts selected from four divisional camps held across the State will participate.
Of these, 80 percent are from Government-run schools and majority are girls. The camp will be inaugurated by former Chairman of Indian Space Research Organisation, A. S. Kiran Kumar.
Participants will take part in six workshops based on a variety of themes/concepts related to everyday applications of science and mathematics.
Meanwhile, Feynman Day will be observed by SVYM on Nov. 26, after the celebrated Physicist and Nobel Laureate, Prof. Richard Feynman. Sessions on his contributions to science, Feynman as a person and the play ‘A Day in Feynman’s Life’ in Kannada will mark the occasion.
