Mysuru: “Through hard work and dedication, one can achieve anything in their life,” opined Upa Lokayukta B.S. Patil. He was speaking at the 12th Graduation Day celebration held at JSS College for Women in Saraswathipuram here on Saturday.
“Everybody has their unique strengths. If one is able to find that strength and work hard with dedication towards their goal, one can achieve insurmountable feats in their life.
One can certainly overcome their shyness and fears such as being born in a poor family or having studied in Kannada medium. One needs to pursue their dreams and passions with persistent effort and determination,” he added.
Toppers: Following toppers received medals on the occasion: M. Asharani – BA, V.N. Spoorti – B.Sc, B.R. Nagarathna – B.Com, Nidha Fatima Bhavnagari – BBA, U. Suma – BCA, S. Gagana – MA Economics, K.K. Akshata – M.Com and B.S. Anusha – M.Sc Chemistry.
Graduate and Post-Graduate degree certificates were presented to 588 candidates.
Suttur Seer Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamiji, Executive Secretary of JSS Mahavidyapeetha Dr. C.G. Betsurmath, Principal K.V. Suresh, Academic Dean Dr. H.B. Suresh, Dr. B.R. Shivamurthy, Shobha Patil and others were present.
