Mysore/Mysuru: To create awareness on the importance of wearing helmets, to mitigate road fatalities and to promote road safety, Apollo BGS Hospitals, Mysuru, conducted an awareness programme in city recently.
As part of this initiative, the Hospital shed light on the alarming correlation between organ donations and accidents resulting from not wearing helmets.
By highlighting this crucial link, the hospital aims to emphasise the urgent need for widespread adoption of helmet usage to prevent avoidable tragedies on roads.
In a special event held at the Emergency Department of the Hospital, Apollo BGS Hospitals distributed 25 helmets free of cost to students and youths. The helmets were distributed by the Assistant Commissioner of Police.
