Mysore/Mysuru: With less than a month remaining until polling day on April 26, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is revving up for a series of massive public rallies across various parts of Karnataka.
The lineup of star campaigners set to grace the State includes Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath, among others.
Under an election pact, leaders from both the BJP and JD(S) will share the spotlight in public rallies throughout the State. Former PM H.D. Deve Gowda and former CM H.D. Kumaraswamy are slated to accompany PM Modi during rallies scheduled in Mysuru, Bangalore Rural and Hassan districts.
Additionally, PM Modi is anticipated to address a public rally in either Chikkaballapur or Dakshina Kannada district. Collaborating with JD(S) leaders, PM Modi will campaign for NDA candidates contesting in Mysuru, Mandya and Chamarajanagar districts.
During the rally in Bangalore Rural, PM Modi will not only campaign for the party’s candidate but also throw his support behind candidates from various Constituencies in Bengaluru.
Meanwhile, JD(S) Supremo and former PM H.D. Deve Gowda is anticipated to join PM Modi for rallies in the Udupi-Chikkamagalur and Tumkur Constituencies.
Sharing the stage with PM Modi during these rallies will be former Chief Minister and BJP Parliamentary Board member B.S. Yediyurappa, along with former CM and JD(S) State President H.D. Kumaraswamy.
The campaign will witness the participation of Central Ministers and BJP national leaders in the public rallies. Alongside PM Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP National President J.P. Nadda and State BJP President B.Y. Vijayendra will address the gathering. The BJP High Command has also instructed Vijayendra and Kumaraswamy to conduct joint meetings of both BJP and JD(S) party workers ahead of the filing of nomination papers.
