Mysuru: The VV Puram Police have appealed the caretakers, if any, of an 6-year-old girl sheltered in a city shelter home, to contact the Police Station.
In a press release, the Police said that the child named Kanya has been sheltered at Bapuji Children’s Home, Gokulam, after she was brought by a woman on May 1, 2014, who claimed that the child’s mother had died during delivery and that her father was indifferent to taking care of the child. As the parents of the girl are yet to be traced, the Police have issued this notice, as they have to initiate legal action against the parents after tracing them. The girl is 6-year-old, wheatish in complexion, oval faced and speaks Kannada.
