Mysuru: The Nehru Yuva Kendra, Mysuru, has invited applications from youths (male and female) for appointment as ‘National Youth Volunteers’ to function under the Union Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.
The appointment will be for a period of 2 years and the volunteers will be paid a monthly honorarium of Rs. 5,000.
A total of 14 volunteers, two each from the seven taluks of the district, will be appointed to function as volunteers. Also, two other volunteers will be appointed for functioning as Computer Operators at the Department’s Office.
The applicants must be aged between 18 and 29 years as on April 1, 2018 and must possess a minimum qualification of a pass in tenth standard. Candidates having Computer knowledge will be preferred.
Students who are pursuing studies and those who have already served as volunteers in the same scheme are not eligible to apply. The appointment will be only for a two-year period, with payment of a monthly honorarium of Rs. 5,000.
