The Backward Classes Welfare Dept. has invited applications from class 5 to 10 students for admissions to Pre-Matric Private, Government, Aided hostels in various parts of the taluk for 2019. It has also invited applications from Backward Classes, Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes students for admission to Class 1 to 4 at Ashram Schools. Admissions are open for Basavanapura Ashram School, Kuvempunagar Pre-Matric Hostel for Girls, Siddaramanahundi, Beerihundi and Chamundi Hill Pre-Matric Hostel for Boys, T.S. Subbanna Sarvajanika Private Aided Boys Hostel in Vidyaranyapuram. Interested may submit the applications before June 20 after obtaining the same from respective Hostel Wardens or Department Office.
