Applications invited under Amrutha Jyothi Scheme

The Energy Department has invited applications from eligible beneficiaries having Below Poverty Line (BPL) card, belonging to SC and ST community and residing in Bannur to avail benefits under Amrutha Jyothi Scheme introduced by the State Government. The Scheme is implemented under DBT system in association with the e-Governance Department. Free electricity concession will be provided upto 75 units to the eligible beneficiaries if they pay the electricity bill within 15 days after the bill is issued to them. The concession amount of 75 units will be directly credited to the beneficiaries’ bank accounts.

Applications may be obtained from the Office of the Executive Engineer, Bannur Chamundeshwari Electricity Supply Corporation (CESC) and must be submitted at the office itself. For details, visit the Office of the Assistant Director, T. Narasipur Taluk Social Welfare Department.
