Mysore/Mysuru: Former Minister M. Shivanna has been appointed as Chairman of Karnataka State Safai Karmachari Commission, while another BJP leader from Mysuru M. Appanna has been appointed as Chairman of Jungle Lodges and Resorts.
Shivanna had served as District BJP President until recently.
Earlier, Hassan MLA Preetham Gowda was appointed as Chairman of Jungle Lodges but the Government, after withdrawing the order, issued a fresh order appointing Appanna as Chairman of the State-run body.
