Mysuru: Retired IAS Officer N. Jayaram has been appointed as the Member of Karnataka Real Estate Regulation Authority (K-RERA).
Jayaram’s tenure will be for a period of five years from the day of taking charge or till he attains age of 65 years or until further orders. His appointment is in compliance with Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act 2016, falling under Karnataka
Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Rules 2017 and the timely amendments made to the conditions and rules.
A 2004-batch IAS officer, Jayaram had served as the Secretary of then Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He had also served as the Commissioner of Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA), now rebranded as Mysuru Development Authority (MDA) and Mysuru City Corporation (MCC), in-charge Secretary of Mysuru District, Secretary of Revenue Department and Commissioner of Bengaluru Development Authority (BDA).
