Appointed as KSOU Registrar

Mysuru/Mysore:  Prof. Lingaraja Gandhi, Professor of English, University of Mysore (UoM), has been appointed as Registrar of Karnataka State Open University (KSOU), Mysuru, by Governor-Chancellor Vajubhai R. Vala. 

KSOU Vice-Chancellor Prof. S. Vidyashankar had recommended three names and the State Government has considered and approved Prof. Gandhi’s name.

Prof. Lingaraja Gandhi, who took charge yesterday,  had served as Registrar, UoM and as Registrar (Evaluation), Bengaluru Central University. As the first Registrar, he has the credit of introducing “E-Governance” and bringing out Examination Manual – 2018.  

Earlier he had served as Director of Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation Board (PMEB), UoM; Director, UGC-Human Resource Development Centre (formerly, UGC-Academic Staff College) and as Director, College Development Council, UoM.
