Apprenticeship in Journalism

The Department of Information and Public Relations has invited applications from SC candidates who have passed degree/ Post Graduation (PG) in Journalism for selection to 12-month apprenticeship in Journalism.

There are two vacancies for SC and one for ST candidate. Candidates must be aged below 35 years, should have computer knowledge and must know to communicate fluently in Kannada language. During the training, the selected candidates will be paid a monthly stipend of Rs. 15,000. Selection will be on merit-cum-interview basis. If eligible candidates from the district are not available under Special Unit Scheme and Girijana Sub-Scheme, candidates from neighbouring districts will be selected.
