Mysuru: The Karnataka Arebhashe Samskruti Mathu Sahitya Academy in association with Kodagu Gowda Samaja, Mysuru, will be hosting ‘Arebhashe Samskruti Paripalakara Samagama’ at Kodagu Gowda Samaja in Vijayanagar II Stage at 9.30am tomorrow (July 23).
MLA Vasu will inaugurate the event. Karnataka Arebhashe Samskruti Mathu Sahitya Academy Chairman Kolyada Girish will preside.
Virajpet MLA K.G. Bopaiah will be the guest of honour. Gowda Samajagala Okkoota, Madikeri, President Soortale Somanna, Madikeri Kodagu Gowda Samaja President Periyana Jayananda, Mysuru Kodagu Gowda Samaja President Chettimaada Janardhan, Kodagu Gowda Mahila Okkoota, Madikeri, President Kunjilana Muthamma and Kannada Sangha, New Delhi, Joint Secretary Tadiyappana Belliappa will be the chief guests.
The day-long event comprises seminars and interactions. The valedictory will take place at 5 pm, followed by ‘Arebhashe Geethagayana’ programme at 6 pm.
Kodagu Gowda Vidya Sangha (Madikeri) President Hosuru Ramesh Joyappa, Kodagu Gowda Yuva Vedike (Madikeri) President Pykera Manohar Madappa, Kodagu Gowda Samaja (Mysuru) former Presidents Kodakandi Gopala and Kudupaje Kushalappa and others will be the chef guests.
