Arif Jan Sarwari (82), a resident of Kesare, Rajendranagar, passed away yesterday afternoon in city.

He leaves behind his wife, six sons including Abdul Khader Shahid (President of Mysore District Congress Azeez Sait Block) and a host of relatives and friends.

Namaz-e-Janaza was held at Masjid Khatoon-e-Jannath at Belvatta in Kesare, after Isha prayers followed by the burial at the Muslim Burial Grounds near Tipu Circle yesterday.
