Armyman’s house burgled at Vasanthanagar

Mysore/Mysuru: The house of an army Serviceman at Vasanthanagar in the city has been burgled.

The burglars have decamped with cash and articles from the house of Deepu, the Armyman who is serving at Arunachal Pradesh.

Deepu’s wife Ashwini had left her house located on Fourth Main, Vasanthnagar, along with her children to her in-law’s house in Hassan district on May 1 and returned to the city on May 11 only to find the house burgled.

The burglars are said to have prised open the back door and decamped with cash of Rs. 15,000 and other valuable articles from the house, after scouting for jewellery and other valuables. The burglars have also stolen the DVR attached to the CCTV camera installed in the house, it is learnt.

Alanahalli Police have registered a case in this regard and are investigating.
