Arrest, probe accused for leaking pen drives: Revanna’s Counsel

June 9, 2024

Hassan: Holenarasipura MLA and former Minister H.D. Revanna’s advocate Gopal has urged the SIT probing into the case of sex scam against former Hassan MP Prajwal Revanna, to also arrest Prajwal’s former car driver Karthik Gowda, Puttaraju and Sharath Gowda, for leaking the pen drive containing explicit videos.

Speaking to media persons here yesterday, Gopal said, the Court had rejected the anticipatory bail plea of the three accused recently, but still SIT has failed to arrest them.  The trio were recently seen celebrating the victory of Shreyas Patel in the Lok Sabha elections from Hassan, but the Police were a mute spectator. If SIT fails to arrest them, I shall have to move court, he warned.

Even leaking of video amounts to sexual harassment, said Gopal, substantiating his demand to arrest the trio.

Ironically, Revanna was arrested soon after his bail plea was rejected by the Court, but in the case of the three, SIT has not filed any case against them for leaking the video. This shows the disparity being practiced by SIT against Revanna and his wife Bhavani, opined Gopal.
