Art of Living fetes unsung achievers 

Mysuru: Marking its 45th anniversary and the 70th birthday celebrations of its Founder Sri Ravishankar Gurudev, the Mysuru Unit of Art of Living Foundation felicitated unsung achievers with ‘Teremareya Sadhaka’ award at a programme organised at Art of Living Ashram in Lalithadripura here on June 14. 

The awardees are Doctor from K.R. Pet Dr. R.T. Venkatesh and Madikeri-based Journalist Ajjamada Ramesh Kuttappa  

Speaking on the occasion, the Art of Living faculty member S.R. Venkatesh said the                       Foundation has been relentlessly striving for bringing about better physical health among the public through Meditation and Yoga. It is also educating the public on how to relieve stress and anxiety, he added. 

Maintaining that Art of Living is extending help for betterment of life through mental health,  education and infrastructure facilities in rural areas, Venkatesh said the Foundation is helping people by holding Yoga, Meditation and breathing exercises. This has helped many to improve their concentration and mental health, he noted. 

Pondicherry Medical College former Dean Dr. K. Rajalakshmi, Devarathna Samsthe Founder M. Shivaprasad, Ashram Volunteers Veena, Gokul, Apoorva, Suresh, Ravikumar, Anand, Naganandini, Mahesh, Pratibha and others were present.
