Mysuru: Columbia Asia Hospital, in association with Mysore Orthopaedic Association, will be conducting a day-long Arthroplasty Summit at Columbia Asia tomorrow (Dec.16).
In this summit, two live surgeries will be performed between 8.30 am and 9.30 am by Dr. B.R. Prashanth, Orthopaedic & Joint Replacement Surgeon at Columbia Asia Hospital and Prof. K.S. Manjunath, highlighting the challenges faced during difficult primary knee replacements, the protocols to be adhered to and the postoperative management of these cases in greater detail for a successful outcome.
More than 100 orthopedicians are expected to take part in the Summit. The event will be inaugurated by Dr. Manjunath, Dean of Bengaluru Medical College Research and Institute at 9.30 am on Dec.16. The programme will go on till 4 pm.
Experts at the Summit includes prominent names such as Prof. K.S. Manjunath, Head of Orthopaedic Surgery, Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute, Dr. HPC Khincha, Senior Joint Replacement Surgeon, Sagar Hospital, Dr. Shankar Kurpad & Dr Veera Reddy from Columbia Asia Hospitals, Bengaluru, along with local faculty from Mysuru.
