Artiste Dr. Jamunarani Mirle’s work released

Writer and noted danseuse Dr. Jamunarani Mirle’s work ‘Naa Kandante Nanna Guru’ being released at a programme organised under the aegis of Mysore Art Gallery in memory of late Danseuse Vidushi Krishanveni at RamaGovinda Rangamandira in Kannada Vikasa Shikshana Samsthe premises, Ramakrishnanagar, on Saturday.

Mysore/Mysuru: Writer and noted danseuse Dr. Jamunarani Mirle’s work ‘Naa Kandante Nanna Guru’ was released at a programme organised under the aegis of Mysore Art Gallery in memory of late Danseuse Vidushi Krishanveni at RamaGovinda Rangamandira in Kannada Vikasa Shikshana Samsthe premises, Ramakrishnanagar, on Saturday.

Speaking after releasing the book, noted writer and orator Prof. A.V. Suryanarayanaswamy said that the author, Dr. Jamunarani Mirle, has written the book in memory of her Guru Vidushi Krishnaveni. Noting that the book acts as a guide for budding dancers, he said that the book also highlights the Guru-Shishya relationship for those engaged in the field of Arts, Literature, Music, Dance and such other performing arts. Recalling the contribution of Krishnaveni to Arts field, Prof. Suryanarayanaswamy observed that innumerable minds and hearts should come together to take Arts, Music and the like to much greater heights.

Noted Danseuse Dr. Vasundhara  Doraswamy, Mysore Art Gallery Founder-President and renowned sculptor L. Shivalingappa, the book author and danseuse Dr. Jamunarani Mirle, Rajeshwari  Vastralankara’s  B.M. Ramachandra and others were present.

The book release was followed by a  dance performance by Dr. Jamunarani Mirle and troupe and cultural presentation by a host of artistes.
