Mysore/Mysuru: “Teaching is necessarily a challenging profession. Young dance artistes who aspire to be teachers must succeed in developing patience and must have forgiving quality in them,” said Nrityagiri Performing Arts and Research Centre Director Dr. Kripa Phadke.
She was speaking after presiding the first edition of Yuvapallava-2022 programme organised by Nruthya Eesha Performing Arts Centre, Mysuru, at RamaGovinda Rangamandira in Ramakrishnanagar here recently.
“Senior disciples of Dr. Vasundhara Doraswamy — Harish Kumar, Deepthi Adishesh, Dr. Padmashri N. Kashyap, N. Anusha Raj and Deepthi Dikshit — have earned recognition from the public with their performances. The young artistes before coming forward to present a dance performance must acquire sufficient knowledge through continuous research and studies. They must have a great rapport between the co-artistes and form a good team,” she added.
Earlier Sri Nadabrahma Sangeetha Sabha President T.R. Harish inaugurated the programme. Sri Rajeshwari Vastralankara Proprietor B.M. Ramachandra, JSS College Social Work Professor Dr. Kumudini Achchi, Nruthya Eesha Performing Arts Centre’s P. Saraswathi, Akshat Raj, Jithin, Bindu Kumari and others were present.
