Artistic workshop and drawing classes in city from Nov. 8

Mysuru: A five-day Artistic Workshop and Exhibition ‘Cha Cha Cha-2019’ and drawing classes have been organised in city.

The Artistic Workshop and Exhibition will be held from Nov. 8 to 12, the drawing classes by Prof. Vijay Bagodi, Dean of Faculty of Fine Arts at MS University, Baroda, will be held from Nov. 9 to 12.

The Workshop and Exhibition will be held at the following venues in city from Nov. 9 to 12: Windflower Resort on Maharana Pratap Road from 4 pm onwards; Anokhi Garden on Contour Road in Gokulam from 10 am to 6 pm; Studio Zero Eight 21 (0821 Studio) on Nelson Mandela Road in Bannimantap from 12 noon to 9 pm; GC’s Sports Medicine Centre on St. Thomas School Road in Vishweshwaranagar from 10 am to 6 pm and at Kalpa Kshetra in Vijayanagar 4th Stage.

Pragati Mathur – Experimental Weaving Artist from Bengaluru, Sumedha Sah – Architect/Illustrator from Mysuru, Chandrika – Traditional Painter, Mysuru, Champa Mohan – Filmmaker, Bengaluru, R.M. Gowri – Painter, Davanagere, P. Suchender – Painter, Mysuru, L. Yogananda – Visual Artist, Mysuru, N. Ranganatha – Signboard Painter, Mysuru, Nada Maninalkur – Singer/Wanderer, Bantwal taluk, K. Rakshith – Visual Artist, Kukke Subramanya and Shrithin Shettigar – Sculptor, Kundapura, will take part in the workshop.

Drawing classes: Drawing classes with Prof. Vijay Bagodi will be held at Windflower from Nov. 9 to 12 from 2 pm to 5 pm. Call Mob: 84314-29691 for registration.

Prof. Vijay Bagodi is a hugely influential and important arts teacher and his profound understanding of human figure and his ability to communicate and impart his vast knowledge on drawing have been respected for many decades.

Music programme by Nada Maninalkur on Nov. 9 from 6 pm to 7 pm at Kalpa Kshetra, Nov. 10 from 5 pm to 6 pm at Anokhi Garden, Nov. 11 from 5 pm to 6 pm at 0821 Studio and on Nov. 12 from 5 pm to 6 pm at Windflower.

Neralu Theatre will be performing on Nov. 10 from 6 pm to 7 pm at 0821 Studio and on Nov. 11 from 6 pm to 7 pm at Kalpa Kshetra. Reading – A Practice 57 will be held from 2 pm to 6 pm at Windflower and also a book exhibition by Mahesh Rao and S. Ramanatha.

Concluding music by Sarjapura Blues Band featuring Shekhar Sheshadri and Vinod Matthew will be held from 6 pm onwards on Nov. 12 at Windflower. For details, contact Mob: 84314-29691.
