Aryan Pathange wins doubles in Bengaluru

City’s Aryan Pathange partnering with Mohammed Iftikhar defeated Shane Biddaiah and Siddart Ponnala of Hyderabad 6-3, 6-2 in the final to win doubles the Men’s 50K tournament organised by Namma Sportz Academy in Bengaluru, recently.

Earlier in quarterfinal, the duo defeated the team of M.S. Karthik and Surya Reddy 1-6, 6-2, 12-10. In the semifinals they beat the second seeded pair of Sachin Kumar and Shahul Anwar with a score of 6-4, 6-1. In the singles, Aryan lost in pre quarters to Sheik Mohammed Iftikhar 2-6, 4-6.
