Wrestling enthusiasts assembled at NIE Grounds witnessed some of the most thrilling wrestling bouts held during the wrestling competition in Ashokapuram yesterday.

The competition, organised by Senior Wrestlers of K.R. Constituency, was held as a part of Dasara festival. Among the wrestling bouts that excited the audience was the one between Pahilwan Mahadev of Dharwad and Pahilwan Sunil Kumar of Ashokapuram. In the point wrestling, Kollapur Pahilwan Neelesh Tarangi and Pahilwan Munish Kumar settled for a draw.

MLA M.K. Somashekar, MUDA former Chairman K.R. Mohan Kumar, KEA Chairman Siddaraju, BJP leader H.V. Rajiv, Wrestling Committee President Deshigowda and others were present.
