The Annual Athletic Meet of the Police Public School was held at Chamundi Vihar Stadium, Mysuru, recently. Ashwini Nachappa, Arjuna awardee and former International athlete, was the chief guest. Dr. A. Subrahmanyeswara Rao, City Police Commissioner, Mysuru city, presided. Dr. Preethy Vincent, Principal, Mount Litera Zee School, was the guest of honour. All three guests stressed on the importance of sporting activity in a student’s life. Diamond House emerged winners of the meet with Emerald House finishing runner-up. Police Public School Principal Rennie Joseph Mendonce and Vice-Principal Deena Uthappa were present on the occasion. Sameen proposed a vote of thanks.
