Mysuru:  In the wake of Assembly polls, the State Government on Saturday, has transferred 79 Dy. SPs and 207 Police Inspectors across the State.

As per the transfer order, T.K. Muralidhar, who was serving as Dy. SP at Somwarpet, has been posted as Devaraja ACP   while B.L. Venugopal, who was serving at Tiptur has been posted as ACP (Traffic) and C. Gopal, who was serving as Dy. SP at the IGP (Southern Range) office has been posted as N.R. ACP.

Devaraja ACP G.S. Gajendra Prasad has been transferred and posted to State Intelligence at Bengaluru, while M.M. Yogendranath has been posted as Srirangapatna Dy. SP, S.E. Gangdharaswamy as Mandya Dy. SP, N.S. Chandrashekar as Chikkamagaluru Dy. SP and B.S. Srinivasamurthy as Somwarpet Sub-Division Dy. SP.

Mysuru DCIB Inspector H.M. Kantharaju has been posted as Inspector of Nandini Layout Police Station at Bengaluru, Kuvempunagar Inspector R. Vijaykumar to Vidhana Soudha Police Station, Bengaluru, Hebbal Inspector Thimmegowda to Srirampura Police Station at Bengaluru, CCB Inspector R. Jagadish to Gundlupet, Hunsur Inspector K.C. Poovaiah to Chamarajanagar, Nazarbad Inspector M.L. Shekar to Alur Police Station in Hassan District, V.V. Puram Traffic Police Inspector C.V. Ravi to Mandya, Metagalli Inspector H.T. Sunil Kumar to Mangaluru (East), Devaraja Inspector C. Thimmaraju to Mangaluru West Traffic Police Station and Udayagiri Inspector P.P. Santosh to Barke Police Station at Mangaluru.
