Associations to take out rally against Tanveer Sait on Apr. 29

Mysuru – The SC/ST Employees Association Honorary President Shantaraju has said that a massive rally will be taken out in city on Apr.29 in protest against the ‘false’ case filed against him and  six others by Minister for Primary and Secondary Education Tanveer Sait in Bengaluru recently.

Addressing a press meet at Pathrakartara Bhavan her this morning, Shantaraju alleged that Minster Tanveer Sait had lodged a false complaint against him when he went to meet the  Minister at his Chambers in Vidhana Soudha on Apr. 11.

Claiming that he did not threaten the Minister and had only requested him to lower the minimum marks for SC/ST candidates in the appointment of PUC lecturers, Shantaraju accused the  Minister of unnecessarily targeting him.

He further said that many associations and organisations have extended support to the protest rally, which will commence at 11 am from Town Hall and culminate at the DC office. Writer K. Govindaraju and others were present at the press meet.
