The Department of Mechanical Engineering, ATME College of Engineering, Mysuru and GTTC, Mysuru, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to bridge the skill gap existing between Institution and Industry.
Dr. L. Basavaraj, Principal, ATME and K.L. Prakash, Deputy General Manager, GTTC, signed the MoU. Prakash spoke about the facilities available at the training institute and various training programmes that can be conducted for the benefit of ATME students.
Dr. Basavaraj said that exposure of industrial working ambience to students will help them gain potential knowledge in their domain and enhances employability.
GTTC is an autonomous society and a recognised Scientific and Research Organisation by the Government of India.
Arun Kumar, Chairman, ATME, who also addressed the gathering, emphasised that Industry-Institution interaction helps to mould the students to meet tomorrow’s challenge.
Dr. G. Rathnakar, Head of the Department, Mechanical Engineering, ATME, welcomed and highlighted the importance of Industry-Institution relationships.
