Augment additional coaches to Tipu Express to meet Dasara rush

Sir,

The presently running train number 12613/12614 Mysuru-Bengaluru Tipu Express coach composition consists of just a single AC coach (that is, AC Chair Car Coach- C1) apart from general sitting and reserved coaches. There is now an urgent need to augment additional coaches to meet the upcoming Dasara festival rush. The Railway administration should take necessary steps in advance to reduce chaos while traveling and ensure that adequate arrangements are made with respect to additional capacity augmentation to several important trains originating from Mysuru.

The non-availability of an additional AC coach and limited reserved general coaches on Tipu Express may cause inconvenience leading to surging wait lists during festival time. As such the train is in high demand by the passengers owing to day time travel in both the directions and its subsequent rake sharing arrangement with Siddaganga Intercity Express connecting upto Hubballi.

Hence it is hereby requested to the South Western Railway authorities concerned at Mysuru Division to urgently consider augmentation of an additional AC Chair Coach (that is, Coach C2) and earmark additional resrved general seating coaches to Tipu Express in both the directions for the upcoming Dasara festival. The move will further benefit the passengers of Bengaluru-Talaguppa Express and Bengaluru-Hubballi Siddaganga Express Intercity Express also, as Tipu Express further has a rake sharing arrangement with these two trains on daily basis.
