Dattagalli 3rd Stage is now a very large extension of Mysuru City. It comprises Kanakadasanagar, Someshwaranagar, adjoining RT Nagar and Rajarajeshwarinagar.

The first city bus starts at 6 am from Someshwaranagar via Netaji Circle to City Bus Stand (CBS) but it is not possible for us to reach the Railway Station and take even the Chamundi Express that leaves at 6.45 am.

To proceed to outstation early,  this first bus timing is quite late. A few other extension areas like Srirampura  have the facility of direct buses even to Bengaluru as early as 5 am.

There is a Vishwamanava Express train running everyday starting at 5.50 am. Since Mysuru city centre is not well-connected by city buses from a very well-developed extension area to take early morning trains and buses, only commuters with their own vehicle arrangement are making use of it.

Hence, the authorities concerned and the elected representatives are requested to initiate action to augment the public transportation to city centre (Private and KSRTC bus stands and also the Railway Station) and help the large number of commuters.
