Austria Ambassador to India visits AT&S Plant

Mysuru: Ambassador of Austria to India Brigitte Öppinger-Walchshofer visited the AT&S Plant at Nanjangud recently. After a ceremonial welcome, she was given an overview of the company and its footprint in India by Robert Grobbauer, outgoing Managing Director and Chief Operations Officer, AT&S India.

During the facility tour, she saw the state-of-art PCB manufacturing line operated by AT&S at Nanjangud and took deep interest in understanding the intricacies of the processes and business. She later planted a sapling at the unit premises in the presence of Robert Grobbauer, Sunil Banwari, who has assumed the charge of Managing Director and Chief Operations Officer AT&S India, R.S. Simha, MD and Chief Finance Officer, Christoph Pfeifer, Commercial Attaché at Austrian Trade Commission in New Delhi and the management of AT&S India.

The Ambassador also visited the historical Srikanteshwaraswamy Temple in Nanjangud and Mysore Palace. AT&S India Pvt. Ltd is country’s first manufacturer of high-frequency and high-density interconnect printed circuit boards, an essential for the true realisation of Digital India. It is a subsidiary of Austria Technologie & System technik AG, world’s leading manufacturers of high value PCBs and IC substrates.
