With the district receiving pre-monsoon rains, the District Vector-borne Diseases Control Officer Dr. S. Chidambar, in a press release, has requested people to avoid stagnation of water around the house, prevent accumulation of trash near house and keep surroundings clean to avoid breeding of mosquitoes responsible for spreading of diseases like Dengue and Chikungunya.
