The Department for the Empowerment of Differently Abled and Senior Citizens, Women and Child Development Department, District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), NSS and Senior Citizens Helpline have jointly organised World Elder Abuse Awareness Day (WEAAD) celebration tomorrow at Devaraja Market premises. Senior Civil Judge and DLSA Member-Secretary Devaraj Bhute will inaugurate. DC Dr. Bagadi Gautham will preside. City Police Commissioner Dr. Chandragupta will be the chief guest. SP R. Chethan, Women & Child Development Department Deputy Director Basavaraju, District Disabled Welfare Officer Malini, University of Mysore NSS Coordinator Dr. M.G. Suresh and others will be present.
