Mysore/Mysuru: A campaign to create awareness on maintaining cleanliness and to make the devotees and public know about the ban on plastics was held by the District Administration, Zilla Panchayat, Clean Mysuru Foundation and other NGOs at the footsteps of Chamundi Hill yesterday.

Deputy Commissioner (DC) Dr. K.V. Rajendra, who launched the campaign, said that the public should shun usage of plastics and should help maintain cleanliness for a healthy environment. Mysuru Taluk Panchayat Executive Officer H.D. Girish, Chamundi Hill Gram Panchayat PDO Roopesh and others were present.
