Mahadevappa, MLC R. Dharmasena, City Congress President R. Murthy, District President Dr. B.J. Vijaykumar, Corporators K.V. Sridhar, P. Srinivas, Shantakumari and Gopi, former Corporator M. Shivanna and others look on. Prema Shankaregowda is the JD(S) party leader, which is part of the ruling coalition at the MCC.
