B.C. Devaraj Urs (78), a resident of Kuvempunagar, passed away here this morning.
He leaves behind his wife, two sons and a host of friends and relatives.
Hailing from Barse village of Periyapatna taluk, he had served as Senior Proof Examiner in Prasaranga, University of Mysore.
He has actively participated in community activities and social work.
Cremation took place in city this afternoon.
