B.K. Mahadevappa (84), of Bookanakere in K.R. Pet taluk of Mandya District, passed away here yesterday.
A relative of State BJP President and former CM B.S. Yeddyurappa, Mahadevappa leaves behind his wife, a son, three daughters and a host of relatives and friends.
Last rites were performed at his native village Bookanakere this afternoon, according to family sources.
