B-Kharab controversy: Land owners demand implementation of High Court order

Mysore/Mysuru: The State Government, which is showing enthusiasm in removing B-Kharab (Government land) classification from lands coming under Kurubarahalli Survey No.4, Alanahalli Survey No.41 and Chowdahalli Survey No.39 on which five CITB and MUDA layouts (Siddarthanagar, K.C. Nagar, J.C. Nagar,  Alanahalli and Income Tax Layouts) have come up, must show the same concern in implementing the Karnataka High Court order that has declared over 2,000 acres at the foot of Chamundi Hill as private land removing it from ‘B-Kharab’ classification.

Addressing a press conference at Pathrakarthara Bhavan on Wednesday, Chamundi Thappalina Bhoomalikara Sangha (Chamundi Foothill Land Owners Association) President Dr. Talavane Krishna has demanded the implementation of the High Court order in letter and spirit.

Association Secretary K. Manu, member Raghavendra Murthy and Advocate Vinay were present at the press meet.
