B.N. Ramanuja Iyengar

B.N. Ramanuja Iyengar (87), a retired Railway employee, breathed his last at 7 am today (May 26) at his residence in Kuvempunagar, due to age-related problems.

He leaves behind his wife, a son, a daughter and a host of family members, relatives and friends. 

He was actively involved in Ganabharathi as its Secretary for 25 years and as the President for one term.  Dr. C.G. Narasimhan, Ganabharathi President, is his brother-in-law.

Last rites were held at 11 am at the Harishchandra Ghat, foot of Chamundi Hill, according to family sources.
