Shivanna (67), a native of Dodda Vokkalageri and residing at Yadavagiri here, passed away yesterday night at a private hospital in city.
He leaves behind his wife Jayamma, a daughter and a host of relatives and friends.
Last rites were held at the foot of Chamundi Hill here this afternoon, according to family sources.
