B.T. Srinivas (69), former Mandya Zilla Panchayat Member and a resident of Belagola in the taluk, passed away yesterday morning following a heart attack.

He had also served as the President of TAPCMS, Director of DCC Bank and President of the Zilla Panchayat’s Standing Committee on Agriculture and Industry.

He leaves behind his wife and two sons. Last rites were performed at his native place yesterday afternoon.
