Baby Showers at Hebbal Police Station!

Mysuru:  The officers and staff of Hebbal Police Station, performed Baby Shower ritual on their colleague Roopa, a Woman Police Constable, at the Police Station here yesterday.

Roopa, who is working at the Hebbal Police Station since a year, got married two years ago and the couple were living in the Police Quarters in Hebbal.

Her husband works in a private firm. Before going on maternity leave from today, Roopa’s colleagues decided to organise Baby Shower ritual for her at the Station.

The women staff at the Police Station arranged for the rituals and later performed arati to her.

Her colleagues gifted her bangles, a saree, fruits besides offering her sweets and  wishing her a safe delivery and a healthy baby.

Meanwhile, City Police Commissioner Dr. A. Subrahmanyeswara Rao said that Police Stations should have people-friendly atmosphere and also a friendly and family atmosphere for the cops and added that it is only then we could expect good and efficient service from the Police personnel.
