Bags ‘Bala Vikasa Sri’ Award

Mysuru:  P.N. Nihal, 8th std. student of Rainbow Public School, Bogadi, was conferred ‘Bala Vikasa Sri’ Award at a programme in Town Hall on Saturday last in recognition of his achievements in dance, flute, drawing, singing etc., by Karnataka Rajya Vokkaligara Vikasa Vedike to commemorate late K.H. Ramaiah and Nadaprabhu Kempegowda Jayanthi celebrations.  

Son of P.N. Naveen Kumar and Rashmi, he was also honoured with Jawaharlal Nehru Sadbhavana National Award by Nehru Yuva Kendra, Hegde Cultural and Social Academy Youth Club at Central Library in Bengaluru.  

Nihal received State-level ‘Vishwamanya Kannadiga’ Award at the poets meet organised by Gramanthara Buddhijeevigala Balaga and third prize at an essay writing and flute recital competition held at Ganabharathi.
