Mysuru: Skyway International Travels has bagged the ‘Best Marketing Innovation Award’ under Tour Operators & Travel Agents Brochure Category during the 33rd IATO Convention held from Sept.7 to 9 at Mayfair Convention Centre, Bhubaneswar, Odisha.

Venugopalan Nambiar, Sr. Manager from Skyway International Travels, received the award from Principal Secretary-Tourism Dr. Mona Sharma on the occasion.

The convention was inaugurated by Navin Patnaik, Chief Minister of Odisha, in the presenc of K.J. Alphons, Union Minister of Tourism, Ashok Chandra Panda, Minister of Tourism and Culture, Odisha, Rashmi Verma, Secretary (Tourism), Ministry of Tourism, Dr. Mona Sharma, Principal Secretary and other dignitaries.

IATO’s Annual Convention is regarded as one of the most important events on the Indian tourism calendar and attracts over 1,500 delegates each year. The convention is the main gathering of stakeholders in tourism industry and a common platform for forming strategies and policies for the coming year.
