Mysuru:Swathi, a Post-Graduate Student of Digital Electronics and Communication Systems, Vidya Vikas Institute of Engineering & Technology (VVIET), has won the Best Paper Award for her paper titled “ Pressure Cooker Safety Alert System” in the International Conference on Emerging Trends in Science & Engineering, ICETSE -2017, organised by Coorg Institute of Technology, Ponnampet, South Kodagu recently.

The paper was co-authored and guided by Dr. Bindu A. Thomas, Professor and Head, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering and  Subasree Venkatesan,  Director, Sri Veda EmSys Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Bengaluru.

Anitha and Lahari, also of VVIET, presented their papers titled “Indoor Navigation Using Ibeacon Technology” and “Wieless Voice Communication using Bluecore Technology” respectively in the conference.
