Dr. Najma Mobin, Assistant Professor, Department of Anatomy, JSS Medical College, Mysuru, was awarded “Dr. Abdul Kalam Gold Medal” for Individual Medical Achievement and Research at a programme organised by the Global Economic Progress & Research Association (GEPRA), New Delhi, on the occasion of 47th National Unity Conference on “Individual Achievements & National Economic Growth” held on Oct. 15 at Chennai. The award was presented to her by Justice K. Samidurai (left), Madras High Court Judge and K.Venkatapathy (right), former Minister of Law & Justice in the presence of Dr. A. Kalanithi, former Vice-Chancellor, Anna University and General Secretary of GEPRA, Dr. I.S.Basha. About 55 members were presented with the awards for excellence in their respective fields like Medicine, Agricultural Science, Veterinary Science, etc.
