Bags first prize in Sanskrit contest

T.J. Srivatsa, a student of K.S.S. Sanskrit College, run by JSS Mahavidyapeetha, has bagged the first prize in the State-level Sanskrit extempore speech competition organised by Karnataka Sanskrit University at Balehonnor Shakha Mutt, Yediyur in Tumakuru District recently. The competition was on the topic ‘Nadisamrakshanam.’ T.J. Srivatsa received the prize from former Minister Leelavathi R. Prasad at a function held recently.
